OK. I'm 28, and have suffered from some sort of dysfunction since I first tried to have sex when I was 16. It just doesn't work sometimes. Other times I get hard for a bit during foreplay, but I can't maintain it long enough for intercourse. Last night when I was going to have sex with my girlfriend for the first time, it just didn't respond well. It was semi hard, but not enough to wear a condom and have intercourse. I'm pretty fit, don't smoke, drink on occassion, and eat somewhat healthy. Needless to say, I'm tired of it. It was partly to blame for my marriage falling apart. I don't know if it's all in my head now or not. It makes no sense to me when it will work and when it won't. It doesn't respond to one type of stimulation better than another. Luckily my girlfriend is willing to ride this out with me and help me with whatever it takes. She is a fit, attractive woman and very sexy, and I've never been more turned on than I was last night, yet nothing. It's like it's not even there sometimes....there's absolutely no reason for this!!! Can anyone help? Where do I start? I see a lot of discussion of ordering generic Viagra or Levitra online.

I suggest you start by talking to your doctor. If he/she can't help, try a urologist. Be very frank and explicit with them. Try what they suggest and if it doesn't seem to work, go back and let them know and see what else they suggest. At 28 years old, you are far too young to give up on sex.

Hey Josh, don't take this personal...but is there any chance you may be gay? Latent Gayness can account for erection issues..seeing you've had them since you were a teen. Also, do you have night time erections?...or when u wake up in the morning. If so, you know your plumbing is working...but physchologically you may have some problems. Hope I didn't offend you.

No offense taken...I've thought about that myself, but I know that's not the case. I'm obsessed with women. ;) I'm thinking that's part of the problem. I think I get too excited. Every time is like the first time, I can't believe I'm having sex.
